Numbers That Actually Make Sense

Started in a small Albury office, we're now helping businesses across Australia decode their financial ratios

Back in 2019, three accountants sat around a table frustrated with how financial education was delivered. Too academic. Too disconnected from what business owners actually needed. So we started norivexalor with a different approach.

We're not here to turn anyone into a chartered accountant. We just want business owners to understand what their numbers mean and how to use them.

What Drives Our Approach

These aren't fancy corporate values we printed on a wall. They're how we actually work with people who come through our programs.

Real business scenarios used in norivexalor financial training sessions

Real Scenarios, Not Textbooks

Every workshop uses actual business situations. We've worked with over 300 Australian businesses, and those real-world examples shape how we teach financial ratios.

Plain Language Required

If we catch ourselves using jargon, we stop and rephrase. Current ratio, quick ratio, debt-to-equity—these concepts matter, but the language around them shouldn't be a barrier.

Questions Are Expected

Our workshops average 40 questions per session. That's the point. We'd rather spend time clarifying concepts than rushing through slides that leave people confused.

How We Got Here

The first year was rough. We thought business owners would jump at financial education. They didn't. Most assumed it would be boring lectures about accounting standards.

So we changed everything. We invited 12 local business owners to a free Saturday morning session. No slides. Just their financial statements and our team helping them understand what they were looking at.

Those 12 people told their networks. By mid-2020, we were running monthly workshops. By 2021, we'd opened our Albury training center. Now we run both in-person and remote sessions for businesses across New South Wales and Victoria.

One participant told us she'd been running her business for 15 years without understanding her profit margins. After our workshop, she restructured her pricing and increased profitability by 18% within six months. That's why we do this.

Darren Moss, Financial Education Director at norivexalor

Darren Moss

Financial Education Director

Spent 12 years in corporate accounting before realizing most business owners were lost when it came to their own numbers. Started norivexalor to bridge that gap using real conversations instead of complicated formulas.

When not running workshops, he's usually testing new ways to explain liquidity ratios or working with our team to refine training materials based on participant feedback.
